Congo Freedom Alliance (CFA) is a humanitarian pro-democracy 501(c)(4) not for profit tax exempt social welfare corporation registered with the United States Internal Revenue Service and the Texas Secretary of State.
CFA 501(c)(4) was founded by the Founder, Executive Chairman/CEO of CFA organizationMr. Elie Mundendi in 2009 Arlington, Texas.
Mr. Elie Mundendi was born at the Catholic mission Kimbau on 11/10/1954, in Lobo sector territory of Feshi/Kwango district of Bandundu Province II in democratic republic of Congo. Did his primary school at the Catholic Mission of Kimbau from 1960 - 1966, then his Orientation Cycle from 1966 - 1968, from 1969 - 1970 Elie did his 3rd Literary at the Minor Seminar of Kalonda. In 1970 - 1973 Pedagogical Humanities at the Normal School of Kenge. He obtained his State Diploma in 1973. Then moved to Kinshasa where he Graduate in Mathematics Associate degree from 1974 - 1977 at the Pedagogical Institute of IPN/Binza, got his Bachelor degree in Mathematics from 1977 - 1979 in Congo/Kinshasa.
He relocated with his family in Dallas, Texas where he obtained his Associate Degree in Pedagogy, Math option from 2008 - 2015 in Interdisciplinary Studies Degree and obtained his Bachelor Degree in Science, option Environment.
As a Professor of Mathematics at the Cardinal Malula School Complex Kinshasa/Congo from 1980 - 1982; 1982 - 1990 at Mont Amba School Group of the University of Kinshasa, 1994 - 1995 at Monseigneur Moke Complex in Matonge; 1990 - 2000 at the Institute of Livulu; In 1995 Elie become the Advisor in Agricultural Statistics officer at the Ministry of Agriculture and in 2000 - 2001 Statistics Advisor to the Governor of Kinshasa Hon. Christophe Muzungu. From 2014 - 2018 member of Management team, Supervising the reception at Wal-Mart in Fort Worth, Texas.
We are a think tank founded by University of Texas Congolese war refugee students and their political science faculty advisor. We research, study, proposes solutions, write position papers on DRC good governance ideas, make them available to the public, provide public lectures, and advocate policy utilizing First Amendment rights before government decision making bodies on topics such as:

How control and prevent corruption, which is destructive to society, by joining international partnerships discouraging it? DR Congo rated the 21 most corrupt countries on earth while Denmark ranked the least corrupt and the USA ranked as among top 15 least corrupt.

Congolese want a civilian government of, by and for all the people in the D.R.Congo, rather than rule by corrupt foreign and domestic civilian and military dictators benefiting only the few. Congo Freedom Alliance studies how government can be inclusive of the many Congo voices, rather than the dictatorial personalities past and present who ignore and marginalize the will of the people.
How create a professional well trained professional government civil and military service that services society rather than autocratic dictators and corrupt allies? Congolese want the development of civil and military government agencies where these public servants deliver essential services to all Congolese in a neutral fair efficient and effective manner absent of corruption, and so government is no longer the feared oppressors of the people, but instead they are servants of the people. Government must be reconstructed so it not only can accomplish all the things people need government to do, but also to construct restraints in law that forces government to control itself.
How solve society problems such as nonexistent or inadequate infrastructure, unsafe drinking water, extreme poverty, starvation and extreme malnutrition, unemployment, inadequate health care, inadequate education, inadequate transportation, inadequate electricity, inadequate conflict resolution and tribalism, inadequate State security and public safety, and an inadequate free market economy. Congolese want to know that governments and businesses are working together to provide the basic needs of the people. Congolese want to encourage new institutions to protect society from external and internal threats, so they no longer live in a perpetual state of fear.
Congo Freedom Alliance welcomes any ideas that contribute to improving the lives of all Congolese - especially for the children, who are the future.

Congo Freedom Alliance encourages government policies best for society as identified by 35 developed democratic nations (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) that includes 11 topics identified as essential to human well-being, such as “material living conditions” (housing, income, jobs) and “quality of life” (community, education, environment, governance, health, life satisfaction, safety and work-life balance). United Nations peacekeeping troops have been in Congo for 22 years from 1960 to 2017. Today, 125 nations contribute to maintaining some 22,590 personnel in DRCongo. The United Nations peacekeeping mission in the DR Congo is very expensive. The one year UN cost to June 2017 in Congo is $1,235,723,100 billion US dollars.
The USA contributes 28.3626% of that amount; thus the USA contributes $350,483,199.9606 million US dollars for just this one year. Thus the USA alone since the 1960s has contributed billions that if had not been needed, could have been used at home for USA problems. The DR Congo peacekeeping mission is the single largest contribution of UN resources anywhere in the world. Very costly. This adds up to a large amount of scarce financial and human resources over decades tied up there that could be used elsewhere, if solutions were found to the Congo problem. It is Congo Freedom Alliance’s purpose is to be part of the solution so the DRC is no longer a drain on African continent and world resources.
